About Evansville Cancer Center and Deaconess Chancellor Center for Oncology

Vantage Oncology’s Evansville Cancer Center currently treats a variety of cancers including breast, lung, prostate and brain.  Patients who come to Evansville Cancer Center understand that good treatment comes with good doctors who can support them throughout the entire process.  Our competencies include pain and palliative services, diagnostic imaging, an on-site lab, cancer registry and a full-time psychologist.  Evansville Cancer Center is highly involved with community outreach efforts including their annual Prostate Cancer Awareness Event, Man-to-Man meetings, General Q&A discussions for all cancers,  Look Good Feel Better, Men's Night Out and have worked with the Colon Club to bring Coco the Colossal Colon to Evansville.

Under the direction of Dr. Jon Frazier, ECC offers High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy, an internationally recognized Gamma Med program and Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT). These advanced clinical treatment options permit precise targeting of radiation to a tumor, sparing critical normal organs, providing for better outcomes and fewer side effects for patients.  Dr. Frazier received his medical degree from the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his residency in General Surgery and Radiation Oncology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Frazier completed his fellowship in brachytherapy at the prestigious Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
